AI and Data Science Ethics & Justice teaches students to respond creatively to ethical questions about Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Students reason about AI system design, implementation, and auditing via established ethical theories. Topics include fairness and bias in machine learning, automated vehicle design and implementation, automated predictive analytics in criminal justice, privacy, whistleblowers, and safe and trustworthy AI. Prereqs are coding and statistics/probability.
